A9による地図のサービス。ローンチしてからずいぶん経ってますが、これいいね。通り沿いの写真が出るのがいい。この写真はどうやって集めたんだろう。Googleは上から実写したが、Amazonは横からというわけだ。

Yahoo!のインデックスが大幅に増えたことを前に書きましたが、ちょっとした論争があったり、NCSAによる検証レポートが出たり……。上記のページはYahoo! Inc のJeremy Zawodny氏による解説です。
Relevancyに関して「RustySearch Results – The Search Engine Relevancy Challenge」というページを紹介していますが、これは知りませんでした。
それからもう一つ。インデックスのサイズと検索結果として返される数の関係はそう単純ではないことを「More on the Total Database Size Battle and Googlewhacking With Yahoo」では教えてくれます。もちろん影響するのはこれだけではないですが。
