New York Sushi Ko is an 11 seat sushi bar located on a vivacious stretch of Clinton St in the Lower East Side. The minimalist decor offers a consummate vehicle for sushi chef John Daley’s classically rooted but inventive take on Japanese cuisine.
New York Sushi Ko will not have a printed menu. Meals will be presented Omakase which translates to Chef’s Selection. Offerings will be in 3 Course: $75, 5 Course: $125, 7 Course: $175, or Full Omakase: $200. Each preparation will vary depending on the chefs whim and diner’s selection. New York Sushi Ko will offer a rotating selection of wines, sake, and craft beers.
NYC Chef John Daley takes his sushi pretty seriously, any questions about his commitment to the cause should be answered by his knuckle tattoos reading ‘Fish’ and ‘Rice’. Having worked previously at Masa and 15 East in the city, he went on to sharpen his skills with three years in Tokyo working under his “master’s master” Rikio Kugo of Sukeroku.
