ありえないパワーのチェーンソー

普通チェーンソーといったら単気筒だろ、V8とかありえない。しかもダイレクト・ドライブの回転比1:1ってよくわからないけど多分すごい。でかい丸太がまるで暖めた包丁でバターを切るようにさくさくと切られていく。これ何に使うのだろう。

Thousands can be viewed in the museum’s online database, which draws on the museum’s catalog records. These artifacts inspire and support The Strong’s mission.

アメリカはニューヨーク州のロチェスターにある「遊びの博物館(The National Museum of Play)」が所蔵する玩具のオンラインコレクション。55,000点以上の玩具を閲覧することができる。

玩具といえば近年は電子ゲーム関連がかなり幅を利かせている。次のICHEGのコレクションはアーケードゲーム、コンソールゲーム、ハードウェアなど50,000点以上。日本版も多く見られるのでレアなやつも見つかるかもしれない。

対決 : ブラックサンタ vs ホワイトサンタ

最近アメリカでテレビのレポーターが「サンタもキリストも白人よ」と言ったり、教師が黒人の生徒に「サンタは白人だ、なぜおまえはサンタの格好をしているのか」とか言っちゃったりなんかしちゃったりしてもう相変わらずの状況ですが、決着がついたようです。

悪役が白人サンタということで、結果は明白ですが。

スキーが滑れるのがうらやましい

整備されたゲレンデを滑るのにそれほど興味はないけれど、まだ誰も滑っていない新雪の積もった森を疾走するのは気持ちいいだろうと思う。時々激突しても。

ただ自分は高所恐怖症なので、突然視界が開けたと思ったら空を飛んでいたというのは勘弁してもらいたい。まあこの先スキーなどすることはないだろうけど。
